Have your impact recognised by this Mark of Excellence

If you are an SMEs, NfPs and Social Enterprises who has committed to a genuine Earth+ approach and is making a positive impact this Mark is for you.

The Earth+ Mark of Excellence recognises organisations who are connected to our Earth, making products &/or services that have a positive impact across all aspects of their business.

An Earth+ (Earth Positive) organisation makes products or services that ensure that people and the environment flourish from end to end and are the leaders in future markets with their regenerative thinking and action.  It is different to mainstream sustainability and extractive approaches that can allow an organisation to largely continue as before, without challenging their full impact or making major and necessary shifts.

The Earth+ Mark will recognise your work and contributions to:

  • Addressing need
  • Minimisation of consumption
  • Contribution to Earth & communities

To achieve the Earth+ Mark you will need to have an Earth+ assessment, which comprehensively reviews your organisation across all areas, from how you formed to your latest impact*.  There is a cost for the assessment, however, we have minimised this and is far below comparable assessments/reports of this kind (approx. NZ$1,500-$5,000 depending on organisation size).

Organisations that achieve good practice or excellence in their assessment will be recognised in the annual  Earth+ Mark of Excellence Awards and Earth+ Good Practice Guide.

If you would like to be considered for the Earth+ Mark please contact us on [email protected]

We will carry out an initial free review to see if you are at the assessment standard. If you are, we will then arrange with you an Earth+ Assessment with timings that minimise disruption to your operations.

*Assessments include a full review of governance, operations, customer/client engagement, full cost of impact, community, environmental & regenerative engagement.

FAQs

Who is the Earth+ Accreditation for?

For small and medium enterprises, not-for-profits, social enterprises, co-ops and other organisational structures.

Please contact us if you would like confirmation of an organisational fit.

How much does it cost?

The assessments cost between NZ$1,500-$5,000 depending on the size of the organisation. The cost reflects the time required to carryout the full assessment – inevitably the bigger the organisation the more review required, which is why there is a cost range.

We aim to keep the costs as low as possible to make it achievable for smaller organisations, however, this does not mean we compromise expertise – our team are leaders in this space.

How long does it take?

We keep your time to a minimum so that it doesn’t impinge on your daily work.  We ask organisations to commit to a 2 day on site review and 1-2 days of follow-up questions and support. The rest we do from our end. We are expert reviewers and take the burden of assessing and reviewing away from you.

What do we get on completion?
  • A comprehensive report of your assessment, including details on good practice, areas for improvement and direct recommendations
  • The Earth+ identikit that you can carry on signage for your organisation
  • Membership of the Earth+ community, including access to discounted service providers and expert advice from organisations aligned to Earth+ practice.
  • Access to VIP invitations for Terra Nova events and opportunities to promote your organisation.
Is the Earth+ Accredtitation new?

Yes, the Earth+ Accreditation was launched in Dec 2025 following two years of testing the assessment process across multiple industries and organisational structures, and refining the reporting format.

It was ignited by our work building a network of extraordinarily impactful smaller organisations, who were often being overshadowed by large, much lower impact, over-claiming businesses. We recognised that to build a new way forward we needed these high impact organisations to be recognised, showcased and inspiring for others.

When can we start?

We invite people to be part of the accreditation process after they have made a genuine commitment to an Earth+ approach to their organisation or show significant impact as a result of their operations or approach.

If you would like to be considered for accreditation, please send an email to [email protected] to request a free initial review.
