The Terra Nova team actively supports people to take action for the earth – connecting to nature, connecting to themselves and living and working in synchronicity with the rhythms of our world. Read our ‘Take Action’ boxes below to get your journey started or come and be part of the following initiatives:
A Book of Action – One Year, One You, One Planet
CEO Rose Challies and Terra Nova writer Susan Wills have teamed up to bring you a book full of easy-to-take, high impact actions for earth and our own wellbeing. The book has 365 actions for change that you can do as an individual or with family, friends and colleagues.
EcoWarrior Meet-ups
In 2025 the Terra Nova team are holding in person and online meet-ups to inspire and activate your inner earth spirit. With insight from master practitioners (a bit like getting specialist chefs giving you the inside tips on recipes in a recipe book), you can awaken your eco potential. Come and get your EcoWarrior spirit fired up by signing-up below for dates and times (online timings for GMT, EST & NZT).
Earth Talks
Catch the podcast of Earthly greatness – interviews with top experts around the globe talking about the interventions they have carried out that make a real impact (no overplaying, overclaiming or greenwashing here!), and asking the question… what would earth say if it had a voice in the matter.
Te Ao Earth Week
The week of action! Celebrating, connecting and taking action for earth. We join with hundreds of people and organisations to bring opportunities to be part of a way forward that nurtures both earth and us. Events during the week include exhibitions, live expert sessions, a major conference for changemakers, enterprise hacks, living and working workshops (e.g. crafts, time-management, eco-consumer, transport, digital/AI), ocean swims and clean-ups and much much more. Join the fun in-person in Ōtautahi Christchurch, Aotearoa New Zealand or online.
*The book has been published by Terra Nova Press and can be purchased online here: One Year, One You, One Planet
**’Te Ao’ in the NZ language Māori, in this context means the world.
